Alcoholics Anonymous: Support and guidance for anyone who desires to stop drinking. Thursday evenings at 7:00 at Nevada First Christian Church. Contact: 232-8642. Al-Anon: Support or relatives and friends of alcoholics. Wednesday evenings at 7:00. First Christian Church in Ames. Contact: 233-6312. Alateen: Support for teenage children of alocoholics. Tuesday evenings at 8:00 at Collegiate United Methodist Church in Ames. Contact: 233-6312 Angel Food: Quality groceries at low prices. No requirements, very little paperwork. Contact: nevadacommunityafm@yahoo.com or 382-2974.Cancer Support Group: Support for cancer patients and their families. 7:00-8:00 pm the first Thursday of each month for patients and the third Thursday of each month for families. Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada.
